Hi every1 im running 6.1.2 on my mac, with some cheap usb sound card i bought online theres no problem when i use it on my pc but on the mac it crackles and is every distorted through the soundcard out put, has anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it?

v6.1.2 is an old and out of date version of the software. We are now on v7.0.4

If you are using VirtualDJ for home use only without MIDI controllers/timecode/video, then you can download and use VirtualDJ v7 Home from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html - This version can be used completely free of charge for non-commercial home use (It may not be used a DJ gigs where you are being paid.)
On Mac, you will get this issue if you use two different sound cards and they have different capabilities to each other (E.g: 44100 Hz for one card and 48000 Hz for the other.)
To correct, make sure that both are set to the same rate via MacOS's Audio MIDI setup utility (44100Hz 16-bit is optimal for VirtualDJ)
NOTE: For live performance and best sound quality, a proper dedicated multi-channel DJ sound card is strongly recommended, such as Numark DJIO or Native Instuments Audio 2 DJ (Please note that VirtualDJ Home FREE and VirtualDJ Broadcaster do not support multi-channel external DJ sound cards. VirtualDJ Pro Basic or the full Professional is required to use these.)
