As many of you have the same problem "invalid Skin error", i would like to share the way i solved it.
Follow the path: Macintosh HD \ Users \ username \ Library \ Preferences
then cancel the line: "com.atomixproductions.virtualdj.plist"
launch Virtual Dj. A window will ask you then to register the serial number of the software. Key the serial number, press enter and it should work

I did exactly as you said and still have an issue, I am running Numark Cue and have a mac osx. Can anyone help me?
