im wanting to create different effects for each button, so 8 in total. how do i go about this?
for example, fx1 on left i want it to be "cut" for both decks, and i want the knob to be able to control the length of the effect.
and fx2 i want to set it as loop, and again, the knob controlling the length of the loop going from -16 to +16.
can anyone help especially with these 2, and is there a list of effects anywhere?

I'm not familiar with your LE version, so I need to ask you a question:
Can you open configuration and have access to the "Mappers" tab ?
If yes then all you to do is to select the button you wish to change and type the vdjscript action you want it to do.
For instance you cant type "loop" and the button will perform loop
For effects the command you must use is: "effect 'Beatgrid' activate" without the double quotes (")
BTW: Why would you want to map EFX2 to loop the deck? MC6000 has the AUTOLOOP button for that already (it's a red button)

I was just wondering the same thing?
The looping on the 6000 is very easy to use.
When you say Cut, are you referring to cutting the bass, or treble etc?

Are you talking about killing a frequency when you say "cut" or do you mean you want to use the "cut" effect? The cut effect is download-able in the plug-ins section for Pro users. I'm not sure you can get it with your current license.

sorry guys, i should have mentioned that although i, personally have the LE version, the question is being asked of the pro version of which i have access to.
@Phantom, i know there is the autoloop button, but i want to be able to adjust the length loop with a knob rather than the +/- buttons, and also to make the loop length even shorter than it is.
@winyard & superaceman, i mean the 'cut' effect. much in the same way as what i want to do with the loop, adjust the length of cut
....basically what i want to do is have each fx button enable a specific effect, and the knob adjusts the length or parameters of that effect. so when i press EFX1, it starts 4 beat autoloop, but when i turn the knob it decreases or increases in length.

Is it possible to have samples 1 thru 4 on left & 5 thru 8 on right side of mc 6000 if so how to?
Also i have sp555 hooked up thru mc 6000 and would like to record its trax & samples int vdj (i am using Mac)
