Hey guys I was running my karaoke show last night and I keep getting an error message which comes up saying that VDJ has a fatal error and given two options, Ignore or Recover. Both of which end up locking up the program and me needing to reboot VDJ software. I am running windows 7 64bit quad core 2.8ghz and 6gb of ram. I am only getting this error when running the karaoke pluggin, could there be a possible bug in this pluggin or not. When I just use my Numark total control and cue manually I dont have this problem.
Also I am having great difficulty in configuring my sound card within VDJ I was told that it is best to run asio drivers over wdm drivers. The card is the ESI Maya 44 PCI card. For some reason I seem to be having a problem with selecting the right outputs for the card and VDJ keeps changing the drivers between asio for all and the motherboard card. I am wanting to use both outputs on the card eg stereo out 1&2 Main and Stereo headphones on output 3 &4. Would I be better to run the MAYA44 PCI card for main outputs and the real tec HD audio card for the headphone send. I would really appreciate your help with this guys as I am getting really frustrated.
