Starting off I'm using a PC with Windows 7. I ripped all my music with Media Player and it's stored on an external HD. I want to use a Ipod Touch for backup. I've downloaded iTunes to my PC. Now my question. How do get Itunes to recognize the MP3s without importing them? I want to keep them on my Ext HD. but I want iTunes to see them. Also, will I be able to sync them to my Ipod this way? Si it as easy as putting them into an Itunes music folder?
