话题: help with timecodes

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

hi guys, im trying to set up timecodes for a friend using vdj pro, and cant quite get them to do what they should.

im sure the answer is on here somewhere but cant find it, so if anyone can help me out with a link or quick walkthrough of everything i have to do it would be great.

her system is as follows:

deejay trim 6&8
ofc phonos
vaio laptop 4gb ram dc processor
pioneer cdj1000 mk3's
djm 700 mixer
vdj pro 7.0.3
vdj pro grade control cd's
serato cd's

with the vdj control cds the track is not cueing up still and sort of stuttering
with the serato cds the track will not respond properly to any movement on the cdj platter when cued up but fine when playing

help please

brian.

make sure you have selected the line input on the dj trim if you have the option (but you usually do). Second go to the timecode config screen and make sure you pick the appropriate timecode signal and play around with the sound engines, I had Virtual vinyl which the trim is probably modeled off, for that i had to select the oldest audio engine for it to work. Third make sure you don't have the master tempo on the decks on, vdj needs to hear the variations in pitch to work properly.

hi,

thanks for the help, the master tempo was on, so that may be a start, also, when i select the timecode source i have virtual dj cd selected, do you mean i have to select one of the older options in the dropbox?

thanks,
brian.

I can't get a signal from my timecodes. I get a signal thru my sound card, but when i switch the time codes on i get no signal. Please help, i used this same setup with my old PC with no issues. When i switched to the Mac i downloaded the correct drivers, but no luck.

Here is my setup:
- MBP 13" i5 4G ram
-Virtual DJ Pro 7
-M-Audio Connectiv
-Pioneer CDJ 800MK2
-Pioneer DJM 600
