Whats up guys, my name is Jason and im 15 and go to high school. Well recently theyve asked me to dj Pep Rallys. Would you charged to do it? Or do it to support your school?

Personally, I would do it to support my school if I really wanted to do it, and I would really want to do it! However, if your skills are that good, you should ask very nicely for the money to do the event. Need more of an opinion? Reply, back, I'll probably see it and help you if this didn't.

Well I have actually been a DJ for a year and a half at a skating rink. Not mixing wise, just a normal DJ that plays music. Here recently i've decided that being a DJ may be my life career. Music is something I love. I wasn't exactly worried to much about them paying because I was going to do it for support, i was just making sure I wasn't making the wrong decision. At this time im now fixing to purchase a turntable (Numark Mixtrack Pro), and im currently talking to a old DJ about his music system. So really this would be my first gig, besides working at the skating rink.

i would dj it to get on the good side of teachers and the principal and stuff, might come handy during tests..;-)

Haha, i hear that one lol.

Yes, charge for the work. Then pay for the software. easy come, easy go.
