Firstly I apologise if this topic is in the wrong section, I'm new to the forum. I have used a friends MK4 previously at parties so know how to use it.
I've managed to get it to work on PC, after several attempts. However the problem is on my laptop, I have installed and re-installed several times followed the same steps as I did on my PC but stilll to no success.
The DJ console works, I can play music through it etc but when I start VirtualDJ i have an 'Asio driver error' followed by the 'Device not plugged in' message. So I unplug the console plug it back in and I can use VirtualDJ as I would on my PC. However, whatever song after 2 seconds it starts to slow down and begins to crackle for the remainder of the song.
I've tried using it without my wi-fi switched on, I've tried several USB ports, I've tried using the music from my harddrive instead of the laptop, I've changed the asio buffer size on the control panel. No change.
If it helps my laptop spec is:
-Windows Vista Home
-AMD Athlon Dual-Core ~2.0GHz
-3GB RAM
-Nvidia Geforce 8200M
Thanks for the help in advance guys
