OK I have searched the site and the web and still cannot get this to work.
I have upgraded to Windows 7 64 and downloaded the Hercules DJ Console Series - 2010_HDJS_4 package from the website. I follwed all instructions including not plugging the RMX in until ready. It then started flashing blue and when I started VDJ it said no ASIO and the RMX did not appear in the config menu,
I uninstalled everything and deleted the HDJ files in theSystem32 folder.
I then followed the advice from Hercules pdf (DJ Console RMX – Windows Audio Firmware Update Procedure) about reinstalling but not plugging in the device and doing it via the device manager and Firmware updater. I did see the RMX in device manager under Óther Devices'but I could not get it to appear in the Firmware updater to continue the proces (even after uninstalling as in the instructions).
Still it is just flashing blue and even when I double click it on device manager (it appear with a little exclamation mark under Other Devices) it says the drivers could not be installed - I tried automatically updating and navigating to the Hercules folder on C drive but no good.
Am gutted as it is useless now - so any help would be much appreciated
Other things to note about my system;
I use a MAudio Fast Track Pro as my main soundcard - I unplugged this prior to installation of the RMX
Running Win7 64
Thanks in advance

Is the Rmx a new device or did you have it working before ?
When you say you've upgraded to Windows 7, was it a clean installation (format + installation) or an upgrade from and earlier system ?
Also, can you verify that you are not trying to install it on a USB 3.0 port (the inside connector is blue), as this would currently not work properly.

Hi
Thanks for the reply
I had the RMX working before on Win XP. Just needed to unplug the MAudio external soundcard before I plugged in the RMX.
I installed a new hardrive as my boot drive for Windows 7 and formatted the old hardrive to use as a slave. To confirm, I don't have USB 3 - I tried installing on a USB 2 port (on the front of my pc) and then uninstalled and reinstalled the Hercules drivers on a port on the back

As an additional note, I installed Windows 7 about 6 months ago and installed the Hercules drivers at the time, but have not had time to actually use it until this week (long break!) which is where I have discovered the problem and then went through the uninstall/reinstall process.
I do have 2 slave hardrives and keep my music on one of these (which has the VDJ database) - could this be causing the problem?
