Hello, I purchased VDJ Home version 5 and fell in love with it. I then purchased the Hercules RMX controller and found the controller software to be less than expected.
So I try home edition but RMX does not seem to be compatible with it.
Is there anyway to use other skins with LE version that came with my Hercules RMX? This is a very good marketing ploy cause I now I want the Version 7 VDJ Pro, but cannot afford it right now.
So in the mean time I can either use Home edition v.5 w/o Hercules RMX or use RMX w/ crappy software.
What can you guys do to help? Because after spending $50 on basic hardware and another $350 on a Mix controller I'm $400 in the hole and not happy. Spending another $149 to upgrade my software to Version 7 VDJ Pro just seems unfare.

Sorry, Home Edition does not support the use of MIDI controllers. It is for mouse and keyboard use only.
The software that you received with your DJ Console is a free limited edition and does not allow custom skins, effects, etc. to be used or the program configuration options to be changed (Except during the 20 day trial of Pro.)

And since the RMX comes with a usable version of VDJ, upgrading to the full VDJ Pro is 1/2 off! If you plan on DJing any parties or any social event it is better to just do the upgrade and enjoy all of the features VDJ has to offer.
