i live in kc i called guitar center which is owned by musicians friend they said they have 1 pair of 1200's in whole invetory.if one of the biggest retailers says thats it the 1200 is dead. i don't mean literal just the market. i see two things happenin lots of new controlers and people eitheir buying to resale or in a panic or people digging them out of storage and closets selling to make a buck. the dj marketis real unsable untill someone or we decide what the new industry standard is. is someone going to step up with a midi turntable i wish technics would. but it's unsure posiibly who can predict. it could shift twords cdj's the pioneer 2000, 400, 850's are out.
I need to get time code i kinda like the concept of the midi turntable. since they no longer make 1200's i'm looking at the Vestax PDX-3000mix in the year 2011. i don't want 1200's they last a long time but now more than ever they have all become used. and those that are new are becomeing out of price range for sakes they are selling gold 1200's on ebay for ten grand.

knowing that the unstable market should i go with the vestax. don't get me wrong i own controlers. i have also went through a few. they are getting better. i am drawn twords the vestax because i gew up djing on vinyl. and given that what is your opinion what should i be going for? please be ethical in your response and try and not plug your product to much reps. also will the vestax do the samething as far as control as the cdj's listed above. i don't get that part call me dumb if you want. i emailed customer support but i want other dj's imput to/
