I've noticed that the archive only goes back a month...and some searched of older songs (that used to pop up) don't pop up anymore. Now I noticed a BUY CREDITS button, that says "BUY CREDIT TO DOWNLOAD ARCHIVED CONTENT"... when did this happen?

There are plenty of issues going on with zipDJ lately. I just emailed them a complaint list which included: improper ID3 tags (some files are tagged identically), slow download speeds from the site, music hitting radio well in advance of hitting the site (where radio DJs are supposed to be getting their music), and sessions timing out and resetting user passwords during active sessions.

I sent them a list of complaints and you should do the same so that every subscriber gets the quality and service they pay for.

Done. Any other websites you'd recommend, in case ZipDJ doesn't get their s**t straight?!?

they have problems sometimes , but it's the best service right now .

Zip DJ didn't accept me so I couldn't try them out, to be honest I think these site are all the same and use the same pool.

You need to buy Credits for older songs , all the new songs are Free .
I'm using zipdj since 2008 , so for me all is free (from 2008 to 2011 ) , for older songs i need to buy credits .

I got a response from the guys at ZipDJ within an hour. They said they are working out some bugs and adding new software, and actually went into my account and said there was also an issue with why my archive only went back about a month. Let's see how the progress goes.

They got back to me rather quickly also. Twice as a matter of fact. I've been with them since the beginning and really like the service, the website is state of the art and they are trying to implement some new software. When I spoke to Kevin, he was unaware of some of the issues. So it's important to mention a problem right away when you see it as the guy at the top had no clue that there were issues with the site. I still think it's the best service although it has been frustrating with some of the bugs that need to get fixed.

@Charlie - did they give you a reason for not accepting you? If not, have you tried again since? You'd really benefit from the service.
