I don't remember there being a practical restriction - you can go lower than 1/8.
 
Thanks SBDJ,but is it just me or it now shown in the default skin? Is it posibble in a future release that lower loops can be added? 1/12, 1/16?Haha,thats way too low anyway so thank you vdj team.
 
ummm... installed the update and my mappers are not working. I have the radius 3000 and it magically isn't working anymore. It's not getting recognized now. No problem in 7.0.2. any ideas
 
thanks for the update but i now cant download any plugins it say that vdj is not installed on my laptop please help

You cannot get lower than 1/8 using half loop. You have to assign a keyboard or midi shortcut for lower values.
Example Loop 1/16 ...
action ..deck 1 loop 0.0625

Or replace loop_half with
loop 50%
It will get as low as you wish.

Definitely a problem with Windows. Can't use extraneous hardware. I think it has to do with msi
File.things keep saying to install the softeare first because it cant find the program. Please post the last version up for download. I need the last version back again until this is fixed. If its something I'm doing please shed some light.
 
Update your OS (Windows) first, and re-install.
 
Did that and no help there. Did this work for anyone else.

Very good update; VDJ best DJ software. I just played at the famous Greenhouse Club in NYC with the MC6000 and VDJ 7.03 everything went smooth. VDJ for life.
 
Yay, didn't need to dig out my serial number after applying this update, thanks again for the free update :) [Note: this creates a new set of Start Menu shortcuts in a "VirtualDJ" folder rather than the traditional "Virtual DJ" one].
 
Seems like another awesome update guys.. thank you!

I also noticed a few more effects in the Mac version.

I never had problems before but now this thing is just sharp (for lack of a better word).

THis update has screwed the use of my playlists.

I have hundreds of them in subfolders within the playlists directory in VDj and every subfolder now just says desktop with a + sign and none will open.

Was fine in 7.02 but 7.03 on Windows 7 it happens
 
Same problem for me
 
Cant Install any effects now since 7.0.3. Thinks that VDJ is not installed.
 
Again.... effects and mappers not working.

Went back to 7.0.2 and all is well. Is this an issue with many others or what is the story here.
 
I also have a problem, In the history tab, I have previously renamed the tracklist to what the event was, ie wedding, engagement, corporate event, but since the update, I cannnot rename. It says the tracklisting folder doesn't exist ? Yet, when you go into folders, tracklisting, you can double click to re-name ??????????????

If you have a custom definition file from a prior downloaded mapper install or from the American Audio website - then remove the file from the \Documents\VirtualDJ\Devices folder.

Have tested the Radius series units here and they recognize just fine.

Do not understand 'why' this would happen. We did not change any code related to the tree browser. But, I have recreated your issue.
For a temporary work around - please create a 'Favorite' to the \Documents\VirtualDJ\Playlist folder and uncheck the 'Show Playlists' option in the Config -> Browser tab. Sorry for the inconvenience.
