...wtf....? ok first things first--when i go to the config panel in VDJ and select Rmx as the soundcard it will not allow me to check the apply EQ box--its a ghost box...
This is indeed the case with VDJ 7.
- If an input source (MIC, Line In, TT) is selected, VDJ is required to use ASIO, so it switches the Rmx automatically. In this case the box "Apply EQ..." is greyed out since the Rmx is already in ASIO.
- If no input source is selected, then the box is avilable, allowing you to select if you want to use WDM or ASIO

second--when i select mic as the input in the Rmx control panel it switches to line in when i open VDJ...
Again, a VDJ particularity to default to LINE In on startup. You will need to switch to MIC in the control panel after VDJ as been launched.
Not sure if this is a bug or by design.

third--when i try to apply the Rmx as the soundcard in VDJ i get the ASIO error message..........this is SO frustrating...any help is appreciated...
Normaly, Once you audio configuration is applied, when you close VDJ, it should remember it and use it upon the next time, given that nothing has change. However, if you you were to use VDJ with the internal sound card of your computer in between 2 sessions with the Rmx, then the audio configuration would have changed, making VDJ display this error.
