Topic: PCDJ Dac 2

I just made the move from PCDJ VJ to Virtual DJ 7. Everything seems to be working fine, but I cannot get Virtual to recognize my Dac 2 remote control. It opens fine when I go back to PCDJ, so I am not sure what the issue is. I was assured that it would work with Virtual before I purchased the software, so I am not sure what is going on. Any help would be much appreciated.

What COM port does your DAC take? You can see in the Device manager. VDJ does not like the DAC at certain COM ports. You can change it to something lower - then VDJ should see it and play nicely.
 
 
Make sure that serial devices are enabled (They are not by default) - Go to CONFIG -> Mappers, click on the button to the right of the drop-down list and tick the option to use serial devices.
