Topic: Firetext plugin problem

Fire Text Plugin shows up under VIDEO EFFECT of VDJ but nothing on the right side just a grey square?? help PLZ

Windows XP
Service pack 3
dell Inspiron M1710
Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU
2 GHz 2 GB of RAM

Hi, do all your other visual effect plugins work ok? if not you need to install dx9 or try a reinstall, same applies to the free Firetext plugin.
 
Hi Tayla, I will let Bob know I was with him when he tried works on both my lappy's

yes...other effect plugins work ok...
 
I installed dx9....still does not work...next i will reinstall firetext......I will let you know if that works!
 
we have installed direct x 9 and reinstalled firetext STILL NOT WORKING same as before

could it be NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS??

Can you try this if possible, try plugging in a usb camera and use the camera pluggin, another user had this problem on his dell, but once he plugs in the usb camera he can see the Firetext pluggin.

Weird I know, but it must have something to do with Dell, as you already know by getting the pluggin to work else where.
 
Hi tayla will try THX I'm the guy helping BOB....it is weird but will try he also has a couple of ver of VDJ on this lappy...5.2 & 7.0.2 did not know if that might be the reason....
