Ok my fellow djs!! Im finally ready to upgrade to a set of turntables,ns7 or v7...I've mastered the Total Controller with all da Latency...now its time for some grown folk equipment! As every one knows Tax season is in...and im not going to charge my card this time...so with dat said....what sound card do yall suggest if i get a nice set of numark turntables? I want tecknics but cant afford them with cash right now! or would yall recommend controllers like da ns7,v7? and if yall pic da controllers...does vdj works well with them?

If you are going with NS7 or V7 you don't need a sound card since they already come with one. Yes VDJ works with them.

Bro if you can afford an NS7 then you can afford technics..................check ebay, craigslist or your local crackheads!

@Magagar80....I've been thinking about da controllers for 1...dont have to worry about cartridges...2....dont have to worry bout vinyl...so...im going towards dat route but...im still debating tho! thanx for the info Magagar80

I was using the NI Audio 8 DJ but since they released the drivers for the SL3 thats what I've been using.

I use the Numark Stealth with a Numark DJ IO sound card connected to the first 2 channels of a 4 channel pioneer mixer. I have another stealth and another DJ IO connected to the second 2 channels of the mixer. I have NO issues what so ever with this setup. I mix house and typically use the second laptop only for acapellas, sound bites and/or sound effects. You can find the stealth on e-bay used, as I did, for a reasonable price. I bought the DJ IO sound cards new for about US$100 each but you can also get any other 4 channel in and out card if you wanted to duplicate the set-up. I do not use the stealth for scratching much so I can not give you any advice on that.
