OK, it is time for me to deal with this problem. After I upgraded to VDJ 7 on Windows 7 x64, it would start crashing about every 10 minutes. VDJ 6.X had been working on the same OS with no problems at all.
After the program crashes, the crash guard will always re-open it up to the 2 songs that it crashed on the very first time it happened. I also have to re-configure the audio every time it crashes. Obviously, it is unsuitable to use.
I haven't yet found any solutions, and have resorted to booting up Windows 7 32-bit instead, where the same install works without crashing.
This wasn't too big of a deal but now I really want to be able to use VDJ on my 64-bit along with my other audio software and I can't have it crashing all the time.
Can anyone suggest a fix?
My specs are as follows:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5800 @ 2.00GHz
Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS
Primary hard disk: 6GB Free (254GB Total)
Sound card: M-Audio Firewire Solo
I dont get a crash recovery popup or anything, and the crash guard report isn't affected by the crashes... ???

Your system isnt crashing its just restarting............are you using any midi controllers or timecodes?? You said it does it ever 10 mins and from what I know thats what the trail does............
