Topic: Is their anything else I need?

So I'm going to trade my(extra) 3G iPhone for a turntable( Gemini tt200 direct drive) since I have iphone4 now. So now my next step would be hooking it up. So do I need anything else to get this going?

I'm working with the Hercules RMX with the pro software on a Mac.
I think/know I need to get the virtual vinyl record but other than that I'm lost.
Also how do I tell if the needle is still good or needs to be changed?
Also things to look for when I check the TT out I Do know how to look for cosmetic damage but what about the other goods to. i.e motor, tone arm, platter, and other parts as well?

simples, try before you buy. if its an exchange store then tell them you want to test it before you leave the store. if they say no then dont trade. any good swap shop will allow you to try out the kit before you trade.

also why are you only getting 1 table for an iphone 3g????

those things are still worth £250-£300 in england. you can get 2 decks and a mixer for that.

Cuz their only going for a 100 bucks on eBay. Your right I should check the pawn shops first I've had a few hits on craigslist but their older models.

But thanks for the advice.
