So I dj tomorrow from 9:30pm to 1am and I want to record my set , has anyone ever recorded this long? does it use alot of cpu? also I have a hercules rmx , if i start taking on the microphone will it record that too? because i want it too , and will it pick up the crowd when they scream if i have the mic on? any help please ! my first djing a nye.

quick question mate totally off topic haha... which one would you recommend to buy virtual dj pro online one or the one that comes with the box about 50 dollars more expensive...?

i see no one gave any insight at all to this topic then and now its too late, well better late than never i suppose. ive recorded (on my pc) sessions of 6 hours plus when ive been playing around and learning new mixes and new tracks.
it lets me see where im going wrong and if my timing was out etc..
it didnt cause too much of a problem with cpu usage. as for the mic im not 100% certain if it records but, it should as all inputs are processed via the software and its the software that handles the recording.
that said, if it does record then "yes" it will record the crowd screaming "BUT", only if they scream loud enough ;)
