Topic: hercules mk4 play button question

I just got my hercules mk4 in the mail today. It's working great and I love it except for one thing. The play-pause button on the A deck doesn't seem to be working right. It doesn't seem to do anything at all when I have the A deck selected in VirtualDJ, and when I have the B deck selected it will play and pause both decks or alternate them. Thus the button works but something is mixed up in the software, just curious if there is some setting I need to change or if anyone can shed some light on why this is happening. The space bar and clicking "play" in VDJ with the mouse does not have this same problem, those both work fine.

OH, and I'm running it on a macbook.
 
First think you may want to do is to make sure the button is working properly, by using the following procedure:

If the PLAY button work in there, it should work normally in VDJ.



BTW, Did you install any other version of VDJ beside the MK4 version on this computer before ?
 
I'm having the same problem with my mk4 that I received in the post from amazon this morning. Deck A plays and pauses at it's own free will. Another issue is that for some reason the computer moves around the files and folders by itself often at the same time as the deck plays. It isn't an issue with the button it's something else. Mine is installed on a pc.
 
And I also have vdj home installed before I had the version I got with the mk4. Will this cause any problems?
