Hi Guys,
I'm just new to the whole MP3 DJ'ing thing. I used to DJ in clubs in Glasgow a while back (late 90's).
Anyway, I have jst purchased a hewcules mp3 e2. I'm having real issues with a delay in the sound coming from the headphones to whats coming out the master. I am using a dell inspiron 1501 laptop, a 5.1 usb external sondcard and putting the master through a small hi-fi. I have Windows 7 64 bit. Any help would be much appreciated !

Guys,
Played around a wee bit with the drivers & installed some new realtek drivers which has helped a little bit. I'll keep monotoring this though. Has anyone else had any similar probems to me ? It would be good to hear from you.

Bumped up again for help !!!!!
I've attached a picture of the external soundcard. It seems to intermittently working but there must be a way to fix the latency

Could you give us a little more information about the audio configuration you are using in VDJ and how everything is connected to the USB soundcard ?
Also, you may want to check the Realtek control panel to make sure no ambiance or surround effects are applied.
