I currently have a Transit that I've had for 7 years, I bought it when it was 3 years old so it's ten years old now which is old in the UK due to weathering from bad climate, it's going great but for how long? Have just signed to the AA recovery service for the first time ever! as I feel it might break down at some point.

I also have a nice car, however in a bid to save money I'm going to sell them both and buy a newish van. In about 6 months from now!

I am looking at vans and the best on yet is the Transit still for me however I'm gonna get the low roof model, took this for a spin earlier today but the engine was up n down on idle and had a rattle. Wasn't looking to buy anyway but just to get a feel, was impressed with the drive, comfort and speed.

Very interesting! The Ford Transit just came to the States about 2 years ago I thnk. Or at least that's when I first saw it. It's a bit dff then the one you video'd but, they are nice.

I'm not a Ford man, but as far as the comfort and space those things have for the price, I think it's the best out there.

They say the UK was built using Transits, meaning that every builder has one.

Most common van, I've had 3 and they have been the cheapest vehicles I've ever owned maintenance wise.
