Hi all not sure if this has been covered or if you know what I am doing wrong as I am new to VDJ.
When I play a WAV file as the file ends I get a click almost like a light switch sound but I dont get it on an MP3 file. I have checked all sounds are off in the control panel and the wav files are clean when played direct (ie windows media).
I have tried it on two machines now and get the same result. I have a Hercules RMX and it does it through that or through the PC sound card.
Any help would be much appreciated as I hope to use this system this coming Friday night.

You most likely have a WAV file that you have set tags in. WAV file tags are not currently supported in VirtualDJ (Only a few other applications support these.)
VirtualDJ supports tags in MP3 and MP4 files, which are used by majority of DJ's.
If you wish to to use WAV files, you will need to remove the tags from them, otherwise you will have the click, which is the tag data being interpreted as audio data by VirtualDJ.
NOTE: For formats that do not have tags, or tags are not supported (E.g: WAV), VirtualDJ will use the file name to determine that Artist and Title of the song. This must be in the standard format of Artist - Title, e.g: ABBA - Dancing Queen.wav

Many thanks... I used audiograbber to rip them from CD. is there a way i can bulk remove the tags as I have just spent 3 days and have 7000+ wav files now.

A tagging utility such as Tag & Rename should be able to do this for you.
