Hey guys I need your opinion on lights I have the tri led aggressor and the duel gem pulse lights already I have put another aggressor on layaway with two low end fog machines 18 bucks each.( I figure two cheapie's is better then one high end) my total for it is 110 us dollars and wondering if i should get something else or just even out my lights with putting the aggressor's at each end of my t-bar and the duel gem in the middle. I don't want to spend anymore than my layaway and not to sure if a fog machine is necessary for my set up since i'm new to the scene, Right now i'm trying to go mobile.

Foggers are great but some venues don't allow them so you might want to check with each venue about their and local city policy on foggers. I know you picked up some cheap foggers but if you want to make them last make sure you keep them clean by running some distilled white vinager through them every now and then. If they sit too long they WILL get clogged and stop working.

Wow didn't know that foggers can be that big of a problem.... I know that some people like them and some don't depends on preference I guess. I was just thinking it would be a plus to the service, I like that fact that it really makes your lights pop out.. I think that i'll pass on the foggers for now until I get a lil more business and just pick up another light for now. Can always run down and get a fogger from the local music store.

Don't get a fogger, get a hazer. A hazer puts out a continuous stream of fog-like particles in the air that most people don;t "see" until the lightshow comes on.
I have a perfectly good fogger that's sitting in my garage that I don't use. I have used it so simulate a hazer by putting a high speed fan in front of the nozzle and hitting the switch in short rapid bursts but it's noticeable. A hazer will be almost undetectable (by the audience) until the light beams come on.
Spend the extra on scented haze or fog fluid. Again I didn't and most fog fluid smells horrible. Get some that smells of strawberries (the most common I believe)
The 2 biggest complaints about fog (from the audience point of view
1) Smells bad
2) Too much in the air (can't see across the room)

With that opinion what would you say? Is one hazer enough for a small/medium venue?

Thanks for the link. So i gave in and ended up getting another led aggressor and the for machine. but the scented fog sounds great instead of the regular. The guest might even like that instead of the gagging and choking regular fog..

be careful of scented fog.\, it might not always smell that great. I stopped using it.
