hello, i was wondering if there is a way to get a 2-deck controller to use 4 decks? i have vdj 7 home, and i have an iDJ3. i have been trying this without any luck because either the 10 minute controller limit runs out or i simply cannot figure it out.
can anyone help?

the hercules mx4 will do it out of the box
other controllers you have to map a button to toggle decks
on my RMX i toggle decks 1/3 & 2/4 and use the default 4 deck skin
mapping may not be doable if you don't have a pro license, not sure

i used my hercules mk2 with the akai lpd8. I mapped the four volume faders to the knobs. I also mapped the filters for all four channels since I dont have enough knobs for each of the three eq's. I also can toggle using the lpd8.
its not the best, but it works for now.
it also works well if you use an audio 8 sound card. This is easy because I use the faders and eq's on the mixer, while I control the i use the mk2 to control the four decks.
