fixed it changing the security for the hard drive

What did you have to change in the security on the harddrive. I have the same prob. I have VDJ installed on 2 laptops. 1 with xp and the other with vista. The vista wont recognize the external the I use on the xp pc. Help please. I was kinda thinking it was something with the security settings but what to change?
