Greetings, I'm planning to attempt to make a controller. I plan to purchase a U-HID pcb, buttons, and knobs but before i do I'm testing it with gamepad pcb that to make an arcade stick for mame. I understand that the gamepad is a HID device however I cannot get VDJ to recognize it. Right now I'm attempting to create a definition file for it but I'm not to savy on XML scripting. I doesnt look hard but the example I obtained from VDJPedia isn't working. Am I doing something wrong? I know its easier to buy one but I'm goofy like that. Any help on getting the VDJ to recognize the gamepad for mapping will be greatly appreciated.
