I have come across a problem that happens every now and again, not always and there is no logic to it. I'm hoping someone can help me out.
Sometimes I can cue up a video or karaoke track and at the cue point I will see the first frame of the video cued up in the display screen on my skin. I start the track and the video plays on my computer screen and out around the screens in the bar. If this happens it works fine all night. This is how the program should work.
However, sometimes when I cue a video or karaoke track, at the cue point all I get is a black screen. When I press play the video plays exactly as it should on my computer screen and on the screens around the bar. If I pause or press cue it goes back to the black screen. If this happens at the start of the night it stays like that all night.
I'm sure there must be a reason for this but I don't know what it is. Tonight I did a karaoke night and before I started I activated the 'Backdrop' feature. When I turned it off to use the Karaoke tracks I was faced with the above problem.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem or does anyone know what is causing this?

not sure, but maybe check this.. see if fade to black is enabled in video settings
If so, video will go black if NO sound is played from the deck
