the master volume of vdj has no effect on sample maximum output volume for me this is abnormal as the master output may not be bypassed
by any audio comming out from vdj.

move the master volume fader all way down (i ear nothing) , move the sample volume all way up, play a sample... and blast the speakers...

is there a way to fix it ?

I have noticed this also. Currently there is no fix but it has been suggested in the "Wishes and New Features" section.
 
it's critical as when you limit output for some reason it's bad to have a samples played at full volume ;)

hope this is fixed in v7
