Topic: problem! download to laptop won't work - Page: 2

my VDJ Home download but ever time i try to get on it saids error with the skin i dont get it
 
 
I had virtual dj for about a year and just got some new songs recently and my virtual dj wouldnt play it sometimes and usually froze? so i restarted my computer and everything but it still wouldnt work. I deleted everything i had on my computer that was related to Virtual Dj and then tried to download and install the free home edition again And it wont download....Frequen pissed!!anyway, and every time i click on run for the installation process it does it for a little but then it stops and a window comes up and says (Terminated execution or Cancilation) something like that and id really like to know what to do..cuz if not im gonna restart my computer and start it all over again!! Please find a way for me to download it again!! THanks who ever this is for ur time
 
i downloaded virtual dj home free on july 8
i forgot to save it to my computer so when i downloaded it again it wouldnt download
i uninstalled everything involving virtual dj and soft32 and it still wont download
i dont understand why
 
There's no limit on how often you can DL the free edition. It looks like your PC is the problem. Did you check your (default) DL-folder? Maybe your PC doesn't allow to overwrite the first DL.

[EDIT] Just checked: no problem DL the file twice within 30 sec.
 
 
setup wizard popped up and installed virtual dj but then i pressed finshish and then my laptop acts like i never installed it
 
Hello, sounds like maybe the issue could be with the operating system or memory of the Acer computer, I do know I have had a similar problem with trying to run VDJ Pro on a Dell Notebook Computer, it was due to not enough memory installed, plus the screen was quite small to fully view the software while it was running. So I use a regular laptop with a minium of 4GB memory installed and Windows 7 Professional Operating System, no issues..software runs excellent. Now my desktop has Windows 8 Professional and 8 GB of Memory, I mostly use the desktop for personal DJ Mixes and the laptop for Mobile DJ venues. Hope this helps you out.

hi i downloaded virtual dj 8, and it was working fine until my laptop switched of whilst i was using the programme as i didnt have my charger in it. When i restarted my laptop i was unable to open virtual dj, the task bar (circle thingy) loads for one second. i then uninstalled and removed data bases and resinstalled the program from scratch, but i am having the same problem still can anyone help please.
 
Please delete the settings.xml which could be found in documents/virtualdj, and try again to open vdj.
