If I install a IR Camera USB on the Dancefloor
Will the camera plug in work with any camera ?
Looking at this unit...


has anyone tried using a IR camera while video mixing.. used a regular webcam and it's too dark.

I use a Sony Camcorder with Nightshot turned on. Everybody is green, but you can see everything. Works well.
 
I use a Logitec Sphere. You can pick them up off ebay for less than £100. Its a simple to use usb webcam plug n play and it has ptz. It is very good (better than my sony ptz which is going on ebay very soon) at dark lighting and manages to keep colours. It has an automatic brightness adjust setting.
