Greetings, I found a problem.
I can index any column but the "FILEDATE" one. I didn't try them all, but most that I did try work fine. Left clicking in the column box typically re-indexes it. But not in this "FILEDATE" column. I don't think this works on my laptop as well.
Will somebody please confirm this? I thought this used to work. I might be going nuts.
Thanks,
Jim

Ahhhh.... Thanks ! Yes, when I pick a folder with less than 500 titles it does indeed index. The big folders like my top 1000 and lastplay folders will not.
Perhaps we can get that fixed ?

Jim

Use the 'first seen' tag in your DB. The Filedate has to query your Windows for every single song. This takes performance and time so that's why it's limited.
The usage of the 'first seen' is no problem because it's part of your database and do not need any large resources.
