Completely new to virtual dj and got it only for karaoke....need to know how to search for karaoke,download it so i can see the words and then load it to the decks....any suggestion?

As you know Karaoke files are either CDG files of Video files, for what ever type they are you will find on the top right hand of your search pane a target labelled "View Options" tick what is appropriate for your Karaoke.
load into your player, the words will showin the video window.

Typacle you need zip or cdg & mp3 files for karaoke to run on VDj...click the on the option as per the image and chose the file type, drag the song to a deck and done, or use the karaoke plugin to manage your show.

Maybe I'm misreading this, but by search and download, do you mean search the web and download the files to your computer? If that's the case, it's not going to work. That's not what VDJ is about.
