hello to those reading this,

i have recently decided to try to make/mix music by becoming a dj. For some reason I came up DJ Moderne. I have no idea what it means but its sounds cool to me. After messing around on VD(virtual dj) i try making to official mixes which i think are descent but still a bit crappy. I have no decks or turntables so im limited on what i can do and what i know. if you want you can listen to my mixes and give me some feedback. hate it, like it...send whatever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKmfazNdCTk

well, I listened to your first mix, and, although it's not my cup o' tea musically....technically it sounded good!!
 
thank you for the kind words. i only hope to get better and hopefully make something everyone can jam to.
 
+1 Not my style, but the mixes are solid. Perhaps You should try uploading to soundcloud for audio-only mixes? The second video was cool (except you left the default "my muuvee" title at the intro) but i wasn't to keen on the 1st vid with all the sample pics from Win7. Plus, if you upload to soundcloud you will find more listeners who are into your style. All in all, though, good work! :)

yeah, soundcloud....it'll also give you more than the 10 minutes that youtube gives....more blends/transitions to be critiqued!
