Hi guys.

I went to Denons website today to get a new firmware update to be told that I did not have any equipment in my profile to download firmware updates. So i contacted denon UK did not get an answer so left a message for them to ring back no phone call. has anyone ever managed to speak to denon? Or can someone help me with the firmware for the HC4500 Please.

This means you have not registered any gear in your member profile which you need to create.
Once you do that, the door opens and all available updates become apparent.
 

ooo forgot to mention that i did that the day i got it :(
 

log into your denon profile and you should see your registered items, if its not there add it.
 

thx for the reply. to get my serial number would mean taking a few screws out and lifting the controller out. I really did not want to do that as everything is so neat and working. Surly suppling a linkk to the firmware is not legal.
 

Its not that its illegal or not, its model specific and they want to make sure the right updates are given to the right gear and not factor in human error when selecting versions etc...

To be honest, when it comes to gear, before you screw it down and begin using it checking for the latest updates is always advisable and that goes for firmware, drivers and our software as they all tie in together to work correctly.
This applies to any hardware, not just Denon.
