I wish I had more time to work with the Version 7 at the TAJ. I have some questions.

I'm going to start with 4 decks. After seeing everything at the show I think I'll stick with my Vextax VCI-100... and buy another one to have 4 deck platters.

My question is how will we run the deck sliders? Deck 1 & 2 have a slider, Deck 3 & 4 have a slider. Will I need to use 2 channels on my mixer? Do I need a 2nd sound card? Or do I MIDI map the sliders to the 4 decks and use 1 sound card (preferred)?

It would be cool to map one slider to handle all 4 decks. 1 can slide to 2, 1 can slide to 3, 1 can slide to 4. Second slider... 1 can slide to 4, 2 can slide to 4, 3 can slide to 4. We will need some good indicators to identify the combination. This can get quite confusing. My brain is a sizzle. But the capability will be awesome.

It's gonna get expensive. I like those Black VCI-100's. I'm getting goose-bumps.

Thanks again to Cyder and Atomix for the Expo passes. My Godson never seen anything like it. He was amazed at the intensity of the show. And I had a wonderful time learning also.

I heard a lot of DJs and VJs. DVDJ Unique did a nice job for Pioneer. But it was DJ Skribble had me in awe at the Ego Lounge. That sound system is totally clean and powerful, and he jammed it. He had those subs working so hard I could smell the glue melting on the voice coils. But those JBLs held up, and Skribble had us dancing all night.

Truely a wonderful time. TYVM
