Topic: Error in the Asio driver message

Hi,

I have just installed win7 and am having troubles with ASIO using my Mk2.

I have a workaround of disabling the mk2 as default soundcard (WDM) then selecting ASIO.
VDJ will then open up ok.

If this is not done in that order then I get an error in asio message.

Is this normal or is something else bugging this install?

Have lates Hercules driver, multiple reinstall inc reg deletes.

Any ideas?

I was also having this problem I was pullin out my hair.The solution is right click on vdj go to properties then go to compatibility tab an uncheck compatibility mode this might help.
 
This is the first time I am seeing this menu.
However, I have been getting that same error without having that option checked. I scrolled through the list of O.S's in the compatibility mode drop menu and found everything except Win 7. I am assuming that since I am running Win 7 that's the reason it's not there or is it that the option to run in compatibility mode for Win 7 does not exist?
 
Hi guys,

The problem was with the install of the Mk2

I left it unplugged this time while installing the driver, then plugged it in when it asked me to.
This has fixed the problem.
