I want to remove either all my music and reinstall it into the VDJ or remove the software and do a clean start with it. I tried to remove VDJ but when I reinstalled it, it had music files I want removed. It seems when I delete them while in VDJ they are still there.
I have dead music files that give me an error when I put them on the platter but I can go to iTunes, pick it out & drop it right into VDJ. When I go back to look for them they are nowhere to be found or the same dead file is there.

If you delete or move files outside of VitualDJ then it has no way of knowing this and the files will give you an error when you try to load them (The database entry for the file now points to a file that no-longer exists.)
To correct, go to CONFIG -> Browser, choose the appropriate drive and click on CHECK
To add music to the database (E.g: In its new location), browse to the appropriate drives/folders, right-click on them and choose Add to search DB.

If you DON'T mind loosing all your cues, BPM's, e.t.c. then:
1) Uninstal VDJ
2) Go to your "My Documents" folder and delete the "VirtualDj" folder if it still exists.
3) Open all your hard drives that you have songs on them. On the root of each drive you should see a file named "VirtualDj Database 6.xml" Delete these files.
4) Re-install VDJ
Now you should have a 100% clean installation.
