Hi,
I like how the Virtual DJ scratch sounds when using the mouse and the software's record on the screen. It doesn.t sound the same using the wheel of the DMC2. The jog wheel slows down the sound and then picks up the tempo.
Is there a way to match the same sound as when using the mouse? How do I configure this? The jog wheel has a brake or slowing down effect.

yea the jog wheel uses pitch bend which gives it the slowing down effect like on a cdj for it to sound like your scratching vinyl you would need a vinyl option on the controller or map your controller so jog wheel is in vinyl mode. I think mapping it would work you would have something like deck_1 & deck 2 Vinyl mode

the DMC2 has a scratch mode for the jog wheel. push the wheel mode button till the "scratch" light above the jog lights up. then you are in scratch mode. however it isn't touch sensitive so there will be a slight pause probably when you let go of it from a scratch. also, I wouldn't recommend leaving it in scratch mode all the time. When it is in scratch mode it is rather sensitive and if someone farts in your general direction it will probably cause your music to skip...at least mine is like that.

I have used the scratch mode on the DMC2, but it doesn t have the quick release as using the mouse. Oh well thanks for your help. I guess I would need another piece of gear to get that scratch effect.

You would need a controller with touch sensitive jogwheels, such as the Denon DN-HC4500.
