Hi all,
I use virtual dj on my HP laptop and want to start video mixing. I used to do this using 2 panasonic plasma screens but now use a range of 4/6 screens including projectors. Now I use a splitter box to send signal to all screens I keep getting a NIVIDA error?
Can I use different makes of screens together? If not this is going to be a big disaster.
Cheers

What signal are you splitting from your PC?

A VGA output? Is this the question you asked?
I am new to all this so please bear with me.

You'd need something like this

It sounds like you already have the splitter in use, I use an eight vga splitter my self with no probs, I think you maybe getting this error message because your settings in nvidea are not set correctly, look at what your projector resolution is and set output to that and take it from there. Hope that helps.

some splitter boxes send back the info from the first screen connected to it.. (most video cards pull info from the VGA or DVI connection IE: they can "detect" what is connected).
if this information is garbled the Video card can be confused..
one way around this is to turn of monitor detection..
Also, in most cases the resolution needs to be the same for all monitors/screens connected..
for troubleshooting I would start with just one screen connected to the splitter.. get that working, then add the other screens one at a time.
