Hey.
I had a gig this thursday, after upgrading from Virtual DJ 6.0.8 to 6.1. After this upgrade, i had some problems when searching for songs. The search worked just fine, but when I tried to move the file to the player, it just said error on the player. What's strange is that when I found the song in it's folder, and dragged it to the player, it worked just fine. This happened to a lot of songs. Has anyone got a solution to the problem? If not, how can I downgrade to version 6.0.8? Thanx in advance :)

Are your files on an external hard drive?
If so, I think the drive letter might have changed without virtual dj realising. Have a look, if you think that's the case, we can put instructions on how to change it back. If you're not sure, have a look at the virtual dj database to find out.

My files are stored locally on my laptop, so no drive letter change has occurred :)

right click on the offending file..
choose "File Infos"..
at the bottom of the window it should show the file path=
does it say "file does not exist" ???
if so... check the file path, is everything EXACTLY the same as when you get the song manually from the folder?
IE: if the file path has changed for any reason (renaming of the parent folder etc) VDJ will think its new file..
