Hi, what are my options if i was to expand with a second midi controller, could I purchase an additional user licence for the software, or would I need to buy a whole new copy of virtual dj?

Just wanted to point out that the second unit i will be getting will still be under my name and company but will be operated by another person at the same time as me to meet work demands.

IMHO you would need to buy another copy of VDJ.
 
weird, I have the software on 2 computers now, no need to purchase another license from what I've seen & I've used it on 2 controllers.
 
 
And a single license, it is not to be use on both computer at the same time.
 
Thanks people. I understand that 1 serial is only for use by 1 person, on 2 computers but not at the same time. However, this was more of a sales question, are multiple user licences available at a reduced price?
 
If you have limited edition version or console edition, you can have a discount.

You can still have multiple serial under your account but as far as I know you will have to buy the pro version at it's original price.

you can use the multi-instance to use 2 pc, you put the IP of each pc
 
Should you ever need more licenses over the two computers you can upgrade with your Virtual DJ key to get another copy at a discount.

just to clarify... ;-)

Unless this has changed recently, there is no discount for multiple licences..

you only recieve discounts for upgrades (IE: from LE or home)

If the user purchases a second MIDI Controller that comes with VDJ LE then he can use that second LE licence and recieve a discount on his second licence..

If the midi controller did not come with LE, then he most purchase a second licence at full price..
 
Entered my pro serial but comes up with "invalid Varable Pricing" .
So it seems theres no discount for a second pro licence.
But Balance that against the free lifetime upgrades and We & VDJ are both Winners.
 
Ah guess that's changed you might want to ask support.
