Topic: Problems with VDJ 6.1 with NS7 & NSFX

I have the latest version of VDJ 6.1. Several things are not working correctly.

1. With VDJ loaded and connected to the NS7 when I play a song the song doesn't have a smooth tempo sounds like it is going up and down rapidly. Sometimes restarted VDJ gets rid of the problems, but it is always there when I first start VDJ

2. Second problem is the NSFX with VDJ, when I control the NSFX and push the fx on/off button it turns on the loop controls versus the fx control. I haven't messed with any mapping settings. However if I start ITCH up than the FX buttons work correctly with VDJ with ITCH running in the background. This seems really messed up and I don't know why.

Please help me!

Ok digging through threads, so now it seems as version 6.1 does not work with Numark NS7 or NSFX correctly??? I have a 2009 Macbook Pro. Let me know what I should do or when will there be a fix??? Thanks
 
You need to contact DJ Cyder on here... he will get you the link to download a earlier version that does work with the NS7.
 
Does anyone know which version of VDJ works best with the NS7? I'm just barely finding out the 6.1 doesn't work well and I'm kinda pissed that I wasted money on something that has so many problems with this particular hardware controller.
 
I too have tried the version 6.1 with the ns7 and NO it doesnt work flawlessy . I had the same problem

Also do you guys know if there gonna fix the rotation speed of the platter to Virtual dj for the ns7 and map the startup and stop speed control , so fare i found its the biggest down compared to itch (You move your pitch down and the platter remain always at the same speed...)

The verison i found works best for the NS7 so far... is the Virtual DJ v6.0.6 New Year Edition

Hopefully everything will be fix soon been waiting for almost 1 year , tried every version and still nothin seems to be working perfectly like in itch
 
dj4v, with the new years edition your talking about, did you get the warp sound or is it gone, im currently using 6.0.5 and that one does not make that warbe sound, but if you use video, it makes the video glitch and slows your computer down alot. does anyone know if the new version they just put out adresses this?
 
YA the warp sound is only there when you start a track , i always bring it back a bit before lauching a tune , other than that never really tried with video but i know that for the ns7 you need 4 gig ram & DUO core on Windows or a Mac 2gig ram to use with the rotors , this machine takes a lot of juice out of a pc ! I Really HOPE They put the effort into fixing all these issues !!!
 
great.. just bought a brand new macbook pro and im having the same problem!!!! 2000$ in the hole .. wtf VDJ... guess I'll be using ITCH.. doesn any1 have a fix for this yet????
