Hi
I am thinking about getting the Hercules RMX. I was wondering if it is possible to use the USB cable to send the output signal back to the laptop. ie my laptop serves as my monitor, and I use the RMX headphone out for PFL via headphones.

No, it not possible to do that - You should ideally plug a pair of amplified speakers into the back of the RMX (E.g: PC desktop speakers. home hi-fi system, disco speakers, etc.) and your headphones into the RMX.
However, you could run a suitable cable (RCA to 3.5" headphone) from the master output of the RMX and plug this into the line input of your computer's sound card. Then you will get the sound through your computer's speakers.
