Macbook 2.16GHZ, 4GB Ram, OSX 10.6.3, VDJ 6.01
Trying to use this for the first time and can't figure out how to get connected. HID shows "PC No Link".
VDJ configuration:
Input: dual timecodes...relative mode
Output: external mixer
Soundcard: built in

Try using the latest v6.1 trial http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html
v6.0.1 is out-of-date and there have been many improvements and new features added since that version.
iCDX are HID controllers - You do not need to use timecode with them, and by doing so you are not getting all the features of the controller, such as selecting and triggering effects, song information display on the LCD's, etc.

Thanks...I got my icdxs working with vdj now, but need to buy a soundcard. I DJ in a club and have always just used the thumb drives for the iCDx while all my friends use serato, so I guess it's about time I step it up.
I think I'd rather connect via firewire than USB and am looking at the Edirol FA-66, but am a little confused as to what cables I need and how to connect this to my mixer.
Can anyone help with this?
