由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Well as he title says really it'll most probably for weddings, partys and little things like that. Although, ive already been offered a provisional place at my local club (:, through VDJ purely. I have a budget of roughly £500 whats the best equipment i can get for that, me and a friend are doing it together, he has all the lazers, smoke machine, speakers etc so im going to pay for the decks, i would like a decent return on my money although that really i my second priority as i love doing it. Any help would be wicked :). Thank you 'The' Chase x

Numark's NS7 has been getting a lot of hype lately, but it is ultimately up to you. In other words, consider your budget, frequency of performance, portability, soundcard integration, etc.

I use the Hercules RMX with good results ;)

Ahaa :') this is where i come unstuck :P frequency of performence, and soundcard intergration, elaboroate SVP :)

after you buy the software , you only have a couple hundred left

you should save more money first and avoid buying used

Ive had this response from another website just wondering if you guys agreed ?

Well, with little to no experience, I'd say go one of two routes.

1) Go with a standard rackmount dual CD player. You can run VDJ through it with the time code CDs and USB soundcard and external mixer and still be able to throw in regular CDs. This is where a lot of DJs start as those type players are everywhere from skating rinks to strip clubs to nightclubs. I still use one to this day in my rack for mobile gigs.

Doing this also gives you the experience of learning with regular or burnt CDs too, a skill you won't ever wish you HADN'T learned. Plus, these type can be had for very little money, relative to CDJs and such.

2) Go with a midi controller like a Hercules or something. Super portable, still not terribly expensive and solid enough performance. You'll be stuck with only that though as the unit is the mixer and deck all in one. If it dies, you're dead in the water. And you wont get experience with an external mixer either, something you NEED to know for the future.

Due to the cost, go with one of these routes....whichever one tweaks your interest the most. Don't mess with CDJs, NS7 or any of that stuff yet as they're both above your budget. BUT, if you can increase your budget it certainly wouldn't hurt to have them.

Hope that helps...

^^ thats it ? Im thinking ooption 1 maybe ?
