well ive been recording some vinyl to the comp but when theirs vocals i get some essing the only way it goes away is to add more weight on the tone arm , i dont like adding more weight so is their another way to get rid of it or just use more weight the only option . im using technics mk2 and stanton 681eee mk3 cart

you might need to raise the bottom ring at the base of the tone arm assembly for your particular cartrage, as it is taller than most cartrages.
also worth looking at, how old is the stilus? is it dust free? if there is any dust on it, remove the headshell and blow onto the stilus. (Never use your fingers to remove dirt from your stiilus)
