Hi you guys out there. I hope there is someone of you who can help me.
First my setup.
2 x cdj400, 1 x djm400, hp pavilon dv2000, 3gb, 320gbhd, 2xusb2, vista32, vdj 6.07
I have used the computer with no problems for a year now but with numark dmc2 and djio, about 3 months agon i switched to my pioneer setup.
A month ago i had my first bad experience, the i used the numark stuff (i couldnt fit my pioneer in that tine dj booth).
The promblem was that the audio frozed for a half second or so but continued again. and it happend cuople of tiems that and the next night.
What i saw was that the cpu was using 100% and whan it did that the sound froze.
That happend couple of times that night and the night after that.
When i got back home i reinstalled the computer and vdj.
Then it forked for two weeks, and now this weekend (with the pioneer stuff), right in the beginning of my set vdj froze the music. Vdj still responded to the buttons, like cue sync pitch but it wouldnt play the track. I restarted the system and it worked for a minute or so and the it stopped again.
The cpu was working at 100% again when it happened.
I installed vdj 5.2.1 but the same thing happened.
What couses the vdj to use 100% cpu? what can i do to fix this, it's anoying. Do i need a new computer, is traktor better, please help me uot here.
