Topic: 6.0.8 Music Video Issues

I recently downloaded the latest version of VDJ only to find some of my music videos are "gargled". Videos load ok, but when played there is no picture, just a gargeling sound not recognizable.

These videos work fine with my 6.0.4 version. Most of my videos are downloaded from I-Tunes and work flawlessly witrh 6.0.4

Any suggestions would be greatlly appreciated. Thanks!

i got the same problem with all the versions after 6.0.4 on diffrent computers, mostly on .mpg files . Does anybody know whats has been done with the videoengine after 6.0.4
 
I upgraded to version 6.0.8 and started having issues with mp4 playback, the file will play as if in a loop and then also speed up as if im Fastforwarding thru the video, if i unload and reload it then plays fine.

anyone else having this issue

Mp4's played fine without any issues prior to upgrade.
 
i've just tried changing my performance slider under configuration to better quality (by one click) and the mp4s are playing fine, but this was only a testing thru my home pcs, i'm gonna test the laptop (which is having the same issues) and repost my finding...hopefully this is the issue with this problem.
 
my issue is resolved, the mp4s are now playing fine without any issues, after moving the slider toward better quality under the performance tab in configuration.

could you tell me where is was before, i left mine at default location a quarter of the way in from the left, auto checked, overclock and safe unchecked
 
i think there are only four clicks to slide it back and forth

1 (far left)
4 (far right)

mine was at 2 and i slide it to 3

im back to square one, my fix seems to be only temporary..my mp4 videos played fine when i tested them at home, and did fine one night at work, but next night at work, still the same loop issue.

well i HOPE to got this fix for my issue. i hooked up my laptop to a tv to be double sure and tested out different mp4's...they now play fine.

I do my own music video editing and sometimes i render them to mp4's..using the Sony Vegas Template - Mainconcept AVC for mp4's..

I just now switched to another template that Sony Vegas has, to SONY AVC with the mp4 extension...and the mp4's play fine.

i dont know why this is an issue with the Mainconcept AVC settings, since ive always used that setting for mp4s and never had issue playing them on vdj.
 
I had the same problem with any version of 6.08 and removed it, going back to 6.03 which is working just fine... I stopped upgrading until there something without glitch out there and 6.03 is the closest. Btw, there aren't much difference with all the new versions.
 
thanks jolofboy,but it didnt work for me..i tried 6.0.3 and the mp4 still have issues, but my new format rendering seems to have worked.


can anyone of you verify this with your video issues...
when i use the mp4 (that have issues) in AUTOMIX,they play fine, but if i try and use them otherwise they have the issue....
